A web application by KHD Production that converts Word DOCX manuscripts into JATS Publishing 1.3 XML, with journal workspaces, an editor and validation.

Prepare a final DOCX with consistent headings, Word tables, original images and references. Complete a journal profile and select a suitable extraction template.

Extraction and some linking are automatic. Editors still review content, metadata and assets. Ambiguous citations, equations and complex Word objects can require corrections in the form or XML editor.

This version accepts DOCX. PDF and OCR are not yet supported. Use the source Word file to preserve article structure.

The output is JATS Publishing 1.3 XML for article galleys. OJS 3.3.x, 3.4.x and 3.5.x use a JATS viewer such as Lens Galley, with a plugin release matched to the OJS version. Converter output has not been directly tested on these OJS versions; test one article and its images first. This is not OJS Native Import XML for importing complete submissions.

No. JATS XML supports technical readiness and article packages for OJS and submission preparation for DOAJ, EBSCO databases including CINAHL, Web of Science (Clarivate), and Scopus. Acceptance and indexing remain subject to each service's own evaluation.

No. Recognized DOCX metadata is filled automatically and results can be downloaded immediately. Corrections are optional. The report preserves findings and the actual JATS validation status. Unreadable XML or unsafe asset paths must be corrected first.

Upload the XML as a galley with a compatible JATS viewer. Add images as dependent files and check asset paths and rendering. An OJS viewer plugin is not included with the converter.

An article uses one credit on its first successful export. Revisions and re-exports of the same article use no further credits. Purchased credits last 12 months; the trial provides two credits for 14 days.

Select your currency in Packages & credits, create an order, follow the transfer instructions, upload your receipt and confirm via WhatsApp. IDR and USD are separate fixed tariffs. For international transfers, confirm the method and bank fees before paying. Credits are added after administrator verification.

This engine processes DOCX on the service server and does not send manuscripts to an AI API. Manuscripts and results are held in the user workspace, which requires sign-in.
